How to Restore a Deleted Lead

Overview

This guide shows you how to bring back a lead that has been deleted in Wingmate. You will learn how to find the lead in the Trash Bin, restore it, and confirm that it is active in your pipeline again.

What is the Trash Bin?

When a lead is deleted in Wingmate, it is not erased right away. Deleted leads are moved to the Trash Bin, where you can review them and restore any lead you still need.

Each lead in the Trash Bin is shown as a card with its name, value, pipeline stage, lead owner, who submitted it, and the date it was last updated. At the top of the page, Wingmate shows how many deleted leads are currently in the bin.

Step 1: Open the Trash Bin

Click your name in the top-right corner of Wingmate to open the profile menu, then select Trash.

Step 2: Find the Lead You Want to Restore

The Trash Bin page opens and lists your deleted leads, with the most recently updated lead at the top. Scroll through the list to find the lead you want back. Each card includes a Restore button.

Step 3: Click Restore

Click the Restore button on the lead you want to bring back. The lead opens, and a red banner appears at the top of the page:

This Lead is deleted. Press here to restore this Lead before taking Action.

Note: While the banner is showing, the lead is still deleted. You need to restore it before you can take any action on it.

Step 4: Confirm the Restore

Click the red banner. An Are you sure? message appears. Click Yes to restore the lead, or No to cancel and leave the lead deleted.

Step 5: Check That the Lead Is Restored

Once you confirm, the red banner disappears and the lead page returns to normal. You can now assign the lead, set reminders, update its details, and move it through your pipeline just like any other lead.
