Overview
Notifications help keep you informed about important updates and actions in Wingmate.
Depending on your user role, you may see different types of notifications, from lead updates to approval requests.
This guide walks you through how to view and clear your notifications so you never miss anything important.
What are Notifications?
Notifications provide real-time updates about activities in Wingmate. The type of notifications you see depends on your user role:
Mid-level Role
Can view general updates under the Updates tab.
Examples:
Lead completed
Lead Assigned to you
An Update was left on a Lead you own
A Reminder you own has become due
Manager
Can view both Updates and Approvals
Updates tab: Lead updates and activity notifications
Approvals tab:
Pending approval requests
Approval history
On the Notification icon:
🔴 Left half of the badge dot = Unread lead updates
🔵 Right half of the badge dot = Unread approvals (Manager only)
How to See and Clear Your Notifications?
Method 1: View Notifications from the Notification Center
Step 1: Open Notification Center
Click the Notification icon next to your profile icon.
The Notification Center panel opens.
Step 2: Review Notifications
Salesperson accounts can view:
All Lead-related updates under the Updates tab.
Manager accounts can view both:
Lead updates under the Updates tab
Approval requests and approval history under the Approvals tab. You will only see this option if you have the EasyDocs add-on and have enabled approvals on your Pipeline.
The badge dot on the Notification icon indicates unread items:
Left half of the badge: Unread lead updates
Right half of the badge: Unread approval requests
Step 3: Open Full Notification Page
Click See All at the bottom of the Notification Center.
You are redirected to the Notifications page.
Method 2: View and Clear Notifications from the Notifications Page
Step 1: Open Notifications Page
Click your Profile name at the top-right corner.
Select Notifications from the menu.
Step 2: Review and Clear Notifications
All notifications appear in a full list.
Any unread notifications are automatically marked as Read when this page is opened.
Tips & Best Practices
Check notifications frequently to stay on top of approvals and lead changes.
Managers should monitor the Approvals tab regularly to prevent workflow delays.
Clearing unread notifications helps keep the badge indicator accurate.
