Sometimes the timing isn't right for the customer, and you may have to revisit the prospect at a future date. To archive a lead opportunity, follow the simple steps below:
Step 1:
Click the Lead of your choice. Under "Next Steps" scroll down and click the "Archive/Future Opportunity" button in the Status column on your detailed view of the lead.
Step 2:
In the "Archive Lead" details box, set the date and a reminder message. Make sure you select the date and the user (if you are a manager, you can do this) you'd like to set the reminder and notification for.
Once a lead is archived for your chosen date and time, you'll receive an email or push notification as a reminder.
