EasyDocs: How to Enable or Disable a Quote Template in Wingmate

Overview

This guide walks you through how to enable or disable a Quote Template in Wingmate using the toggle on each template card. Disabling a template hides it from use in document generation without deleting it, making it easy to manage which templates your sales team can access at any given time.

What Does Enabling or Disabling a Template Do?

Each Quote Template has an Active/Inactive toggle on its card. When a template is Active (toggle is orange), it is available for your sales team to use when generating proposal documents from a lead. When a template is Inactive (toggle is grey), it is hidden from document generation but remains saved in Wingmate. The template can be re-enabled at any time.

This is useful when you want to temporarily retire an old template, run a seasonal proposal, or limit which templates are available to your team without permanently deleting any files.

Step 1: Navigate to the Admin Console

From your Wingmate pipeline, click the gear icon (⚙) in the left-hand navigation bar to open the Admin Console.

Step 2: Open Quote Templates

In the Admin Console, scroll down to the EasyDocs section and click Quote Templates.

Step 3: Locate the Template You Want to Change

On the Quote Templates page, you will see all your templates displayed as cards. Each card shows the template name, an optional description, the last updated date, and a toggle switch in the top-right corner of the card.

An orange toggle means the template is currently Active. A grey toggle means the template is Inactive.

Step 4: Click the Toggle to Enable or Disable

Click the toggle switch on the template card you want to change. The toggle will animate as it switches states.

Note: Disabling a template does not delete it or affect any documents already generated from it. You can re-enable the template at any time by clicking the toggle again.
